2. How long do your candles burn?

Soy wax candles typically burn for 5-6 hours per ounce of wax, with common burn times ranging from 20-30 hours for small (5-8 oz) candles, 40-60 hours for medium (10-12 oz) candles, and up to 90-100+ hours for large (16-26 oz) or 3-wick jars. Burn times vary based on vessel size, fragrance load, and proper wick trimming.

Soy wax candles and melts are generally safe for pets and children because they are non-toxic, paraffin-free, and burn cleaner than traditional candles. While the wax itself is harmless if accidentally ingested in small amounts, the added fragrances can pose risks if they contain toxic essential oils (like tea tree or cinnamon) that cause respiratory irritation.

5. How should I care for my candle wick?

To properly care for a candle wick,trim it to 1/4 inch (5-6mm) before every burn to prevent smoking, soot, and excessively high flames. Keep the wick centered, remove debris like trimmed wick pieces from the wax pool, and extinguish the flame with a snuffer instead of blowing it out to avoid smoke and hot wax splatters.

Yes, you can absolutely reuse candle jars after the candle is finished, making them a sustainable choice for storage, home decor, or even crafting new candles. Common uses include organizing office supplies, holding bathroom essentials like cotton pads, acting as small plant pots, or storing dry goods.
